A few weeks ago, Laura approached me with a new business proposal. She was inspired by how she and I had helped with Keira's makeover.
Laura envisioned a boutique that specializes in makeovers—filled with clothes for all body types and offering beauty consultations, which would be my role. She was calling it the Makeover Bar.
It was a good idea, but starting a new business is a lot of work. The plus side was that she wanted to open the boutique next to my salon. So I was meeting her there, along with Miss Mitzi, to discuss the decor for the storefront.
Mitzi has great taste in clothing, just like Laura. Plus, Mitzi actually helped me design my salon, and Laura loved how it turned out, which is why she was coming along to decide on the designs for the boutique.
