The house was quiet. Where the heck is Austin? I know he’s home. Today was a weird day because it is technically my big sister’s birthday, the one who only lived for a few hours.
This is the only day my mother becomes extremely sad. Usually, we take Mom out and celebrate what would have been my sister’s birthday. But this year we didn’t, and Mom didn’t feel like actually going out to celebrate.
