Laura, Kevin, and I got Keira calmed down and feeling better. When we got back to Case's home, Laura realized no one was in the main house.
“Oh, this has Austin written all over this.” Laura grumbled.
“What has Austin written all over it?” I asked her.
“Ten bucks, everyone is in the pool house drinking.” Laura said to all of us.
“Evan is driving today, no way he is drinking this early.” I said to her.
“No, but everyone else is. Let’s go see if I’m right.” Laura said.
Laura marched through the house and outside to the backyard to go to the pool house. Without knocking she just opened the door and went in.
We followed her, and sure enough there were the boys with Mr Case and Mitzi. All of them had a drink in their hands.
