I finished with Laura’s hair, and of course, she praised me like she always does. I turned to her and asked, “Are you sure you don’t want to go to lunch with your son?”
“I’m sure. I really cannot do sushi right now, and I know he loves it. Just go and keep him company, please. You know everybody else in my family, so you might as well get to know Evan too,” Laura said.
