I got done with Laura’s hair and of course she praised me like she always does. I turned to her and asked “ are you sure you don’t want to go to lunch with your son?“
“I'm sure. I really cannot do sushi right now and I know he loves it. Just go and keep him company please. You know everybody else in my family so you might as well get to know Evan too.” Laura said.
I turned to where Evan was sitting and said “just give me like 10 minutes, and we will go to that sushi place, ok?” I said to him.
“Take your time.” Evan said looking at his phone.
I cleaned up my station, and I saw Laura talking with Evan. I went over to Andrea and said “I am going out to lunch and might not be back. You're ok closing this place up if I don’t return.”
