They all left leaving John and Annie alone in the living room, Annie decided to break the silence “What are we going to do ?” she asked
John gazed at her “Give birth to the baby safely and after you have given birth, drop the child and travel far away. I am accepting the child and not you” he said
Annie smiled “I am afraid I dont want that to happen” she said
“Alright, take the child with you once you have given birth and I am going to send you weekly allowances” John said
Annie smiled again, a sly smile shown on her face “I am not going anywhere, I am going to stay here give birth to the child and you will marry me, you either divorce Mirabel or I spoil your reputation outside, I am sure you wouldn’t want that especially when you are running for a big post now” She said
