Did Ezra get up and turn the television on? I wish he would have stayed in bed with instead of trying to cook me breakfast. I let out a sigh as I rolled over to wrap my arm around Ly I know he climbed into the bed if Ezra is up already. I’m crazy sore right now, but it has been a long time so I’m not surprised exactly just I need to get him up and out before the girls come over. I opened my eyes to see I had wrapped my arm around Ezra who is still fast asleep. Who the freak is talking in my house? I turned over to see Sharon and El walking up the stairs into my bedroom. I quickly the cover to cover myself and Ezra’s face, they stopped talking when the noticed me awake.

“I told you we would wake them up.” El said

“What are you guys doing here?” I asked

“Its time we start getting ready for tonight.” Sharon said I turned over to look at my clock oh my goddess its 3 pm. We didn’t get out the shower until 3 am then we did do some other stuff for a few hours. Damn him and his foreplay.

“Right, let me get ready and I’ll meet you girl downstairs.” I said

“Fine, but can I say one thing first.” El said smiling; I motion for her to speak still holding the covers. “Good Evening Ezra and you’re dead to me.” El said the covers moved causing me to turn my head to see Ezra holding the covers up to his neck. He waved slightly before turning to me, Sharon gasped before breaking out into a fit of giggles.

“Hello ladies, nice to see you again.” He said before pulling the covers back over his head.

“Give me 30 minutes and I’ll be down.” I said they turned around walking down the stair, I sighed softly before hearing Lysander’s nails hit my kitchen floor.

“No I’m not feeding you; you let him touch with my sister!” I hear El yell I groaned before turning back to Ezra. As he moved the covers from his face, I know he’s embarrassed because we did agree to keep this between us for a while. We have enough people in our business this was just supposed to be for us.

“I’m sorry.” We both said I smiled before wrapping the covers around me, leaving him with the sheets.

“I left you a present downstairs. I hope you enjoy it.” He said as I headed into the bathroom. I took me yet another shower, I headed into my closet to slip on my sundress and my baby flats. I came out the closet to hear him in the shower. I’ll clean my room tomorrow, I looked at the time to see it was already 4pm. Welp, there goes me just grabbing a dress from Sharon, I ran downstairs to see the girls outside playing fetch with Lysander. I noticed 2 black dress bags on my couch and one gray dress bag hanging in the entrance of my kitchen. I turned to see Ly walking into the house, with El and Sharon. They smiled at me as I turned back to my kitchen. I walked up to see a note with my name on it. ‘Aundreya, I had Evie make you one and I hope you love it. Enjoy your night, I’ll see you later.’ The note said. I smiled turning to the girl.

“A custom dress … wow I need me a billionaire like you.” El said

“I’ve never hear of Evie is she a big designer in the human world.” I shrugged my shoulders as I walked up to them.

“She maybe but he Evie is his twin sister.” I said

“What? You met his family?” El asked

“Well kind of they showed up when I was staying at his house. I met them on accident, but I had dinner with his parents last night.” I said

“Well you’ve had an eventful night huh?” Sharon asked my face started to burn before I turned away from them. “Let’s see this amazing custom dress.” She added, I grabbed the bag and unzipped it to see this glitzy long A-line evening dress with features of dazzling orchid purple beads overlay made of gilding mesh. The eye-catching plunging V-neck and classic court train. Furthermore, the triple beaded waist belts added a touch of glamour to this stunning white dress. Oh my goddess this is beautiful. They both gasp as I pulled the dress out of the bag. Evie made this dress? For me?

“Try it in.” The girls yelled as Ezra started to walk down the stairs.

“You’re staying to see this beautiful dress.” El said pointing at Ezra. Ezra held up his hands before standing at the end of the stairs. I walked into the bathroom carefully hanging the dress up on the door ledge. I could hear giggle from the other room, as I slipped my sundress off. I slipped on the beautiful dress, wow I have to thank Evie when I see her again. It’s a perfect fit and it’s absolutely beautiful, I turned to see my open back covered in scars. Oh yeah, I forgot about those, maybe I could cover them with concealer or something.

“Come on out so we can see… and El can stop threatening your boyfriend.” Sharon said I took a deep breath before opening the door. I picked up the bottom of the dress before I stepped out in the dress with my bare feet. “Oh wow you look so amazing.” Sharon said

“Wow this Evie did a great job, I’m super jealous.” El said I turned to Ezra as he smiled softly.

“Evie has done it once again. I want a picture of you fully dressed for Evie, she’ll be so happy to see this.” He said.

“Let’s finish getting dress girls.” El said jumping up from her seat. We headed upstairs to finish getting ready; Sharon covered my back in concealer as El pressed my hair out. My hair once straightened out covered all of my exposed back. I can’t believe my hair grew so much; I rarely press my hair out so this was a treat for me. El curled my hair as Sharon slipped her dress on, while I slipped my shoes on El slipped her dress on. We all finished getting dressed and doing our make up, well they did their make up I just put on a deep wine color lipstick. I turned to the girls as we all finished grabbed our phone. 

“Let have Ezra take our pictures in front of the garden.” Sharon said as we started to walk down the stairs.

“That would be so pretty, can we do that before we go Dre?” El asked I looked around and didn’t see Ezra. I could hear barking outside, I step out of the house to see Ezra playing tug a war with Ly.

“He'll make a great father.” Sharon whispered to me as he turned around.

“Wow you ladies look amazing.” He said before pulling out his phone, we took pictures in front my house and in front of the garden. Ezra even had am idea of just me and Lysander under this flower trees in the garden. I think that my favorite picture so far, just because he took before we even started posing. It’s a shot of Ly licking my cheek on my lap with the flowers slightly covering my face. Ezra is a sneaky man we took pictures until his phone rang, my guess is that he’s being called into work. “Wow you ladies like a ride there?” he asked

“No, we have our own way.” I said as the girls giggled, he held up his hands before walking up to me. I leaned up to place a kiss on his lips, the girls behind me started awing as Ly whimper softly. Ly is a really good boy and he is my familiar, lucky for him familiars are allowed to the ball tonight.

“You can come tonight if you want Lysander.” El said

“Familiars are welcomed to come this year.” Sharon said

“Why?” Ezra asked

“Well because our familiars are a part of our magic as well, they protect us and guide us through our magically lives.” I said

“But he’s just a regular wolf.” Ezra said

“That’s how we get our familiars, we charm them and protect them with our magic and they become our familiars over time. He became my familiar when I put the collar on him. The magic from the collar protects him and doesn’t allow anyone or anything harm him. He’s a quick learner because he knows he can transfer some to me.” I said

“Oh well here I’ll go get his collar so you all can leave.” Ezra said before running back to the house. I smiled turning to El and Sharon, just started making kissy faces at me.

“So nice to have a husband.” El said

“Don’t be sad, yours will be home before you know it.” I said her smile dropped from her face.

“Here is his collar, you ladies have fun.” Ezra said walking up to us. He bent down to put Ly collar on; he looked up at me smiling. “I won’t be here when you come back I’ll be at work but I’ll see you tomorrow because my sisters want to spend the day with you.” He mumbled as he stood up.

“That’s fine I’ll call you when I wake up at some point tomorrow.” I said he chuckled before turning to head to his car. I turned to the girl grabbing Ly by his collar with a smile on my face; we waved our hands over our head teleporting us to the front of the coven grounds. There are so many witches that were doing to same, some with their familiars and some without. Ly licked my hand as we started walking towards the green house. This is so amazing, my first time really doing a ball, they had decorated the streets and building. Oh my, this is amazing I was just here the other day and it didn’t look anything like this.

“So you have to tell us"

“Not me, he’s still technically my doctor until after next week.” El said cutting off Sharon, I giggled shaking my head.

“I’m not talking about my love life with you guys.” I said

“Thank you.” El said crossing her arms over her chest, even though El is my friend she is still my sister. I don’t feel comfortable talk about that stuff with her, just like she doesn’t feel comfortable with talking about that with me. I know for a fact that El isn’t a virgin but I told her that was her choice to make. Not mine, and don’t worry as long as she was safe and not pressured into it.

“Well go do something else while the big girls chat.” Sharon said wrapping her arm around my shoulder.

“I’m not going to talk about it. That was just supposed to stay between us.” I said gently pushing Sharon’s arm off me. This was just supposed to stay between us since we already share so much of our relationship now.

“Did… he respect you?” El asked my jaw dropped slightly in shock but I guess it’s not that shocking. If El’s memories are slowly coming back to her I could see her remembering more of our past. I smiled nodding my head gently; she let out a sigh of relief before turning to the vendors. She’s always worried about me; she shouldn’t waste her energy right now on stuff like that. I made a stronger dose of spell but the more energy she goes through the quicker it’ll wear off.

“Don’t worry ladies, I caught a bit of Ms. Dreya's future, it’s a good one and a happy one.” Sharon said damn her and her powers. She knows my future more then any of us.

We started walking toward the green house grabbing little things like face mask, chicken skewers, El wanted to try my moon cookies so we got some of those. We made our way to the garden wearing our mask; Ly was enjoying all of the attention he was getting. People would stop us to take a photo of him or to pet him, he loves it! He’s already so spoiled by me but now the coven loves him just as much as I do, heck I even got a picture of someone’s cat familiar rubbing up again Ly. The light blue fairy lights hanging around the trees and on the off street lights. I know what you’re wondering, its winter time how is everyone walking around in just their suits and dresses?

The beauty of the coven being it’s own couple of blocks in the city, is that with all of our magic we have our own weather system in here. It is snowing in here but it’s not cold, I’ve been trying to convince Alice to allow me to do that at the house. She says as cool as that it it’s not necessary on the grounds. We reached the green house to see all of the different couples dancing under the moon light. I cant wait to marry so my husband can come to these things with me, we entered the green house looking around at everything. This place really in amazing, I’m so glad that Amanda, one of our priestesses, found us and took us in. This coven has always helped us, they even helped me get my high school education while still supporting El.

“Oh my goddess Dre they have so many things here. I can’t believe I almost missed this.” El said

“They said that this ball happens every 10 years. Why didn’t you guys attend it then?” Sharon asked

“That’s when I was kicked out of the house and I dragged El with me. I didn’t find this coven until the next year.” I said

“Well yeah that’s a good reason, but hey we’re here now! Let’s go enjoy ourselves.” Sharon said

“Yeah let’s have some fun and dance with people.” El said we split up to go do our own thing; Lysander stuck to my side the entire time. There is a waterfall on the other side of the green house. I want to go and see what’s going on over there; the coven uses every place on the grounds when it comes to these things. Last year for the gift exchange/slumber party, there were different workshops for the spells. The waterfall had a memory spell jars I never made one but El did. I didn’t want to remember too much from my past, I was just trying to forget it.

“Come on boy; let’s go check out the waterfall.” I said as we walked out of the green house and to towards the waterfall where a few other witches were walking to. The water crashing caused me to pick up my speed a little bit, I don’t want to run but I’m excited to see. I finally reached the falls to see the people dancing on top of the water. Something I can’t believe I almost missed, each location of dancing is a different dance style. The waterfall is the waltz and the green house was the Viennese waltz. I wonder where the salsa and samba locations are, I enjoy that dance more then the waltz. I could also do with a partner to do these dances, I’ll make Ezra take me one night that we both have off.

I do miss dancing, that was a hobby I had when we first moved to this coven but I dropped it when El started college. So after all of this with Luke I’ll take up dancing again. We walked around the grounds to see more vendors selling things, I noticed a vendor selling necklaces for male witches. I walked over to the vendor to see the necklaces; I noticed a red tear drop. It looks like blood, I think if I got this Ezra would like this. Hopefully he would wear it; maybe it’s too girly for him to wear? I was just thinking that when he’s at work he could still wear it if he tucks it in his shirt. That way he’ll always have little bit of me with him at all times.

“The blood drop is very popular for holding blood of a lover or enemy for spells.” the guy selling it said me as I picked it up.

“How is it with holding magic?” I asked

“It’s mostly for blood but if you charm the pendant and create like a base to hold the magic. It could possibly work.” He said I turned to Ly so kept sniffing the air, he must be hungry. I’ll take him over to get some food.

“It’ll take it.” I said digging out some money, he held up his hand stopping me. He handed me the boxed up necklace.

“On the house, I can see it’s for someone special perhaps a lover? No, a boyfriend…a future husband I see.” He said as I took the box.

“That’s what he keeps telling me but thank you. Blessed be,” I said I turned to rub Lysander on his head. We started walking towards a meat vendor when Ly started snarling at the trees. I turned my head towards the area as the ground started shaking. Something wrapped around my arm yanking me away from the forest. I turned my head to see the high priestess as she dragged me away, Lysander stayed by my side as we made our way to the green house.

It’s full as if everyone just ran here, there are still people showing up with some people crying. A bright orange light flashed in sky followed by the sound of a large explosion. Are we under attack right now? By who? I need to find El and Sharon now! I turned looking around the green house for El; I know she’s here but where? What if she’s still our there? I don’t see her or Sharon; I took a deep breath before turning to the entrance. I couldn’t see her anywhere; I need to find her I can’t let anything happen to El. I took off running out of the entrance looking around area.

“Elena!?” I yelled as Ly started howling. If we make enough noise she’ll find me right? “Elena!?” I called out again as I started running off in the direction of the next explosion. Please don’t be there, the ground shook under me knocking me off my feet. I slid on my stomach covering the dress in mud, a few pairs of feet appeared in front of me as I pushed myself up from the ground. I looked up to see Luke holding El and Sharon with their arms tied behind their backs. Oh no, this is my fault. “Please let them go.” I said sitting on my knees, El can’t be taken prisoners; she’s almost done with her treatment, if she misses this last one it could be critical.

“No can do Princess”—

“Then at least let Elena go, I’ll go with you if just let her go.” I asked cutting him off.

“Dreya don’t”—

“Fine, but you and Ms. Attitude here will come with me.” He said cutting El off. He tossed El on to the ground before grabbing me by my hair. He yanked me onto my feet before turning away from El. I turned to Lysander as he stood by El's side whimpering, he understands how important it is for El to live to me. I’m so proud of him, I promise you both I’ll be back soon. Just take care of each other until I return.
