Chapter 21 Demonstration Day

I do not know how I am feeling about today. Today will determine my fate as the current CEO and continued legacy for Garrison. I was happy that Rachel took Garrison for the Summer. I could not bear to see him unhappy without his friends close by and in a safe place. I was able to focus on work as it was my only distraction from thinking about Rachel. I am desperately craving her. I want to smell her, touch her, taste her. I have not slept well in days; I don’t have much of an appetite. I just want this day over with. I cannot continue to bear the stress of this much longer.
I am waiting in my office looking out my window watching the business of the city pass by. Any minute now my secretary is going to knock on my door telling me that its time.
