I was just frowning the whole time inside my father's office— I mean, inside the PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE. The girl's mother who I pulled it's hair also came here. She looked so mad at me and nearly killed me with her dark glares at me the whole time my father and the girl's mother were settling this trouble.

"Genieva, apologize to Ms. Irana and to her mother," my brows really arched in disapproval as I glanced at my father, sitting on his swivel chair behind his desk.

"Why should I apologize? This girl also told me— for you and her mother to know that I got my high grades because of you, Dad," I told him and slammed my back on the backrest of the couch I were seated.

Dad scoffed and massaged his forehead like my words stressed him out. Why me? He should also know first what this b-tch told me!

"Genieva," he seriously called me. I looked at him and saw him staring at me like he's getting out of his temper anymore.

And I don't like his stares right now.

I let out a long loud sigh and shut my eyes before I stood up. I crossed my arms and seriously looked at the girl and her mother across me.

"Sorry."

Napatingin kami sa nanay ng babae ng ito'y tumawa habang nakatingin sa akin. My brow shot up.

"Aba eh, Mr. Principal, nag-sorry nga ang anak niyo pero hindi naman ho bukal sa loob," aniya na may halong nakakaloko at inis na tingin sa akin. I looked at her unbelievable.

I shifted my weight on both of my feet. "How should I do that? Should I kneel both of my knees in front of you?" I sarcastically asked her and advance a step. Her eyes widened with what I told her. Why? Did she expect me to earn a respect from me? Lol. She's making me laugh. For real.

But I then saw on my peripheral vision that my father stood up from his seat which sent chills down on my spine.

"Genieva. You're making my patience thin. We'll talk later. Ms. Ilaño, I'm sorry for that. Genieva will apologize now," he told them and I looked at him.

"Dad!"

But he just gave me a look that made me obey him. At kahit pa labag sa loob ko ang gusto ng Daddy kong mangyari, I was forced and had no choice but to still do it.

I face them and fakely smiled. "I'm sorry?" I said and walked near them before I hugged them gently. I felt like my skin was just stained with dirts. Eww. I immediately moved simply away from them, smile still plastered on my face. They both looked shocked but it got vanished quickly. I heard how my father let out a large amount of air, I think he felt relieved that I already obeyed him.

Inner me was worried about my skin. Does it get dirty? Oh my god.

After that, it was already settled. The b-tch and her mother left after it, seemed celebrating that I apologized to them. I rolled my eyes inside my mind. It was just fake after all.

And of course, I can't still go out of the office. I boredly looked at my father as my chin was placed on my palm and my elbow in the arm rest of the couch where I am seated.

Daddy stood up and made a coffee himself before he sat back to his chair and cleared his coat. "Genieva."

"Yes," I boredly answered and stared at my new manicured nails when I went to the salon last week. I let out a lon loud sigh for my father to know that I'm really really bored in here, inside his office. I always got in here because of troubles. I know that my father is already problematic because of his work here at school but I didn't care at it. I know, he can still handle my stubborness here in our school, I'm his daughter anyway and I am born this way. BUT, even if I always got in trouble, I just defended myself and I'm the one who was right in every students I got a fight with, even if it's a girl or a guy.

"Kailan ka bang talaga magtitino, Genieva? Palagi ka na lamang narito sa opisina dahil sa mga gulong pinapasok mo! Tapatin mo nga ako.." he leaned on his desk and still staring at me with his dagger eyes.

I simply swallowed hard and cleared my throat. 

"Are you still a girl or a guy who always wanted to start a trouble?"

My eyes literally widened and I shifted my weight on the couch. "What?!" I exclaimed with my brows furrowed in surprise and disapproval with what he asked me. "Of course I'm a girl! Do I look like a tomboy? Oh my god. You're giving me heart attack, Dad. I should go now. I still have classes a few minutes from now. Bye," I said and kissed him on his cheeks. I heard how he heavily sighed and pointed at me, saying that I should behave. I just nodded at him because he will still talk a lot if I didn't.

I was just frowning the whole class I attended in this afternoon. 

I am now sliding my books, notebooks and other stuffs inside my bag when I heard Greige's voice.

"Will you ride in a jeepney again? I told you, you should have just ride in my car. I already know where your house was, right?" napairap ako at hindi na sila inabala pang pakinggan dahil wala namang kwenta lalo na kung galing sa Greige na iyon. I walked out of our room and I saw Lexie and Reine there waiting for me. I beamed and walked towards them. 

"Yown. I already promised I'll treat you both in a new restaurant near here! G?" Lexie asked us and I immediately nodded then giggled. We looked at Reine and caught her staring on something. I followed her gaze but I didn't see anything where she was looking at. I just shrugged my shoulders because maybe she was just daydreaming or something. 

"Reine," I called her and she looked like she snapped out of her thought and looked at us cluelessly. I chuckled and patted her shoulder. "You seemed so spacing out throughout the day. Are you okay?" I worriedly asked her. Reine nodded and chuckled a bit.

"I'm sorry! What are you talking about Lexie?" she asked.

"I asked if you're in? Doon sa restaurant na sinasabi ko. My treat, right?"

Napatango-tango naman si Reine at mukhang nabuhayan ng marinig ang salitang libre. Hindi ko nga alam kung bakit gustong-gusto niya ang mga libre namin kahit mayaman naman siya, katulad namin.

"Let's go?" they both nodded. 

I absent-mindedly glanced at the side and just saw Greige with Belle again. They are talking with each other, also laughing, seemed enjoying their conversation. I rolled my eyes and opened the door of the backseat then hopped in. I closed the door and le out a deep sigh.

"What's with the sigh?" Reine asked me as she buckled her seatbelt on the shotgun seat, same with the driver on the front. Lexie was sitting beside me.

"Nothing," I shortly answered and took out my phone. I was about to scroll through the screen when Reine chuckled a bit which made us looked at her. My brows furrowed a bit. What's with the chuckle?

"Why are you laughing?" natatawang tanong ni Lexie at ipinagpatuloy ang pagkalikot sa kanyang phone. Liningon kami ni Reine bago ako nginisihan at inginuso ang unahan. We all looked at it and saw Greige and Belle passed by the car we were.

"What's with them?" I confusely asked her.

She rolled her eyes at me like she was unbelievable with what I asked her.

"Maybe you did that deep sigh because of.. Belle and Greige? He was one of the guys on your crush list, right?" Reine asked me that made my brow shot up and I annoyingly laughed at her.

"What the hell, Reine? Why? You think I am jealous because they are together as always? No way," I replied as a defend and crossed my arms against my chest. The driver on the front was just waiting for Lexie to give him a signal before he drive off the school. Yeah, we are still in the parking lot of the school.

Napatango-tango si Reine pero bakas pa rin ang pang-aasar sa kanyang mukha. Hindi ko na lamang iyon pinansin at nilingon si Lexie sa tabi ko.

"Lexie, let's go," I told her. She glanced at me and nodded before she already gave the driver his go signal.

I was very exhausted the moment I reached my room after we ate in the restaurant. I threw myself on my bed and just tossed my bag on the side because I'm kind a lazy to stand up and placed it over the table that was in front of the bed.

"Goodness. My lazy ass wants to sleep," I mumbled and crawled on the bed. I removed my shoes, neckties and uniform first, leaving my sando bra and tight shorts in me.

I covered myself with the comforter and was about to fall asleep when my phone suddenly beeped. I groaned and reached for my phone on my side, eyes still closed but then opened to see who messaged me on messenger.

My eyes widened a bit when I saw him messaged me out of nowhere. Since when did he initiated a conversation with me through online?

     Sent a link

He sent me a link? What's that link?

I opened his message and I thought it was something interesting from himself but I just rolled my eyes and threw my phone on my side when it was just a link for our topic in English tommorow. What a dumb message. Bakit niya pa sa akin ise-send? Hindi naman ako ang president sa room or kahit man lang officer sa room! Kainis!

I just covered myself with comforter and tried myself to sleep but my phone beeped again!

"Ugh!" I groaned and reached for my phone again.

That's for our topic tommorow in English. Just forward this to our other classmates.

I rolled my eyes and just forward the link on our group chat with Lexie and Reine. I scoffed. Meron namang group chat ang section namin! Bakit sa akin niya pa sinend 'to? Is he stupid?

Damn it

Genieva:

Forward. Sa gc.

Lexie:

Bakit dito mo pa sinend? Dapat sa gc nalang nating lahat!

Reine:

True, dapat pinasa mo na, Genieva, instead of here haha!

I sighed and just turned off my phone. Mamaya ko na lang ifo-forward if wala pang nagfo-forward sa group chat namin. But I am sure na forwarded na 'yon mamaya. I should have a beauty rest right now instead of bothering myself to look at their messages at me. They are just stressing me out anyway.
