Eleanor looked at sky as she tap her hand on the table, it's been a few days since she told him about his brothers proposal and he hasn't done anything, she heaved, she wanted answers, answers to all her questions, especially now that she's about to surrender her army, she needs answers and she need them now, “it's been over a week.”
“What has?”
“Since I received your brothers proposal.”
“Oh, do you want me to invite him over?”
“Not yet, if he hasn't showed up it must be because he's busy.”
“Yeah, probably, he doesn't like staying away from you much.”
“Yeah, but I'm not concerned about that.” she looked at him
"What are you concern about.” he continued to eat while acting unbothered.
"Well, what I'm interested in...” she relaxed against her chair and study his every reaction, nowadays his reaction says more than his tongue, “why you haven't done anything?”
“Like what?”
“Exactly that unbothered attitude is what is bothering me.”
“You want me to be bothered?” he exclaimed innocently.
She picked her knife and kept turning it in both hands “if my man recieve a proposal from my siblings who happened to treat him better and has so much more to offer then I'll be concerned."
"Well, I'm not.” he continued eating .
Eleanor demeanor change as she looked at him “and why the f**k are you not?” she held her breath, deap within her heart, she knew why, she's suspected it for a while, why would he do this, why would he kill her father, if he loves her like he said then why isn't he afraid of hurting her.
Sky looked at her then smiled,“ because I love you.”
“He loves me too, and I have no doubt about it, unlike your love which I doubt at every turn.”
“Well about the doubt that you have... about my love for you, don't, I love you and that's never going to change...”
“Huh.” she scoffed
“And I intend to spend the rest of my life convincing you.”
“Tsk.”
“And as for the other, I decided not to worry, he can see the vision everyday for all he care, I don't care and I won't let it bother me.”
“Exactly, why won't you let it bother you, after all a seer visions never fails to come true.”
“Because I truest you.”
“Trust me! you betrayed me.”
“Yes and I'm sorry, but Eleanor, you are the purest person I've ever met and even though I betrayed you, there's no way you will repay me back with betrayal.”
“It's won't be betrayal if I chose to go to him.”
“I doubt your heart think so.”
Eleanor, closed her eyes and held her breath in as she squeeze her fingers tight and sat stiffly, she opened then and looked at him in rage as a tear slipped down her face when she saw the confidence in them, “you.. you...”
Sky stood, “I meant no...”
She stood and walked away stiffly.
Tyler nodded his greetings to Eleanor as she walked by, ever since her father's death, she's never spoken a word to him, it's like she blame him for his death and not Sky. And like always she walked away without acknowledging him, only stiffer than usual, “what up with white princess?” he said as he walked into the dinning area, “what did you do to tick her off?”
“What makes you think I did?”
He scoffed then fork some salad into his mouth, and grimaced, “can't understand why woman eat this grass.”
Sky chuckled, “why, us Stella putting you on a diet?”
“Hell no.” he chuckled, “i said so because you and her mother are the only one she talks to in this castle since our raid.”
“That's not true.”
“And the cook, besides who else can get under her skin without any effort at all?”
“Fine.”
“Is it about the army, did she volunteered to..”
“No, it's something else?”
“Something elses... what are you doing boss? you promised to talk to her about this?”
“I couldn't, not when Kane is sniffing around her like a dog.”
“Then put him away, block him from seeing her.”
“I can't, he's the only one she looks forward to nowadays.”
“What are you?, Santa Claus, you've already started this, there isn't any going back, you see dogs sniffing your woman you chase them off, else they will do more than sniff, they will f*****g haul her off.”
“I get it but she quite mad at the moment.”
“Then we are sorry but princess should get ready to madder, then you persuade her with some of your school boy charm, tell her you are keeping him away because you are afraid he will steal your woman away from him, if she raise trust issues, tell her it's because you guys have not been as thivk as you used to be.”
“I can't.”
“Why not, all women love it if their men are jealous because of them.”
“Well, I could have used this information a few moments earlier.”
“Well it's common knowledge every man knows, even the dogs in the stree... Wait.” he pulled the chair next to him and sat, “what did you do?”
“Well, she asked why I haven't done anything since Kane proposed...”
“And?”
“Well, I might have bragged to her that I'm not worried.”
“What, how could,.... Nevermind, is that all?”
“I might have let her know, I know she can't love another.”
“f**k, you i***t, even if she can't, she can still spite you with other men.”
“Not Eleanor, she isn't like that.”
“You can't be so sure, so it's time to correct your mistake.”
“How?”
“Hmmm, you are the man, you know her best so you'll figure it out but you need to hasten, I heard she visited the general yesterday.”
“She did?”
“Yes and the only reason she would have gone there is either to tell them to surrender and swear allegiance or to gather them for rebellion.”
“It's must get the allegiance.”
“Well let's hope so, so go calm your woman down, the fate of your whole men depends on her.”
