I looked into his dark blue eyes like the ocean after a storm came through, the beautiful capturing colour of waves washing the sand away from shore. The alluring deep pools imprisoned me. All I wanted was to swim in the azure depths and drown from how prefund they were.
They held sadness, insecurity, and fear. We were sitting on the blanket, the fresh grass underneath provided a soft pillow as the sun was reflecting on the surface of the nearby lake. The blazing sun was slowly descending on the summer sky, cooling air as the temperature was decreasing every minute. The last sets of sunrays were warming my skin and I could smell all the flowers blossoming in the open nature.
