Ayla's POV
From that moment, I felt a warmth enveloped my body. It was a very familiar presence that reached deep within my soul and it was enough to bring goosebumps all over my body.
“Ayla...”
With a deep and heavy breath, I recognized the voice that echoed in my mind.
“Dara?” I called out for her, despite the mixture of hope and disbelief that's now flooding on my chest.
“Yes, Ayla. I’m here," she answered.
Dara's voice was strong as before and I could feel it gradually filling the void that had haunted me for weeks while she was gone.
“You and the moon goddess have called for me and I am ready to return."
With those words, I felt the overflowing energy around me intensified as if the connection between us reignite like a burning flame catching fire.
