Alpha Liam's words rang in my ears over and over again, and his ruthless eyes bore to me intensely. Hearing that line from him had me freezing in my seat.

"P-Poison?" I muttered nervously while staring at him with a pale expression on my face. Beads of sweat began to form on my forehead. "B-But we drank it just now, Alpha Liam. What if—"
Instead of answering, Alpha Liam instantly put on a calm expression on his face as his hands traveled down to the teapot as if it were nothing to him, and as he was about to pour the tea into his cup, I took the courage to stop him.
"Alpha Liam, please!" I said a small apology after calling him and taking the teapot out of his hand.
I bit my bottom lip and shook my head, as my hand was still holding his.
