Bartholomew, Asher, and Minerva all went to meet with Martin that afternoon, while Alashia went with Chase and the boys to go on a family hike. They needed to know that Alashia was safe in his hands for training and that he wasn’t a spy for Ferdinand.
When they walked in, he sensed their presence, they were, after all, quite a powerful group. He called someone over to take over the class and motioned them upstairs.
They didn’t want any harm to fall on the humans in attendance if Martin wasn’t who he said he was.
Bartholomew had already run multiple checks on him, and he was clear from what they could see. Minerva had cast a spell on the building so no one in the building could lie. Whatever Martin said would indeed be the truth.
“Is the Queen Mother okay?” Martin turned on them then.
