After her shower, they quickly packed up their last-minute items, made sure the food was out of the fridge, and removed all the bed linens from the bed and placed it in a neat pile for the staff. They bagged up all of their garbage, took one last look and headed to the desk where they turned in their key before piling into the van. “This was one heck of a trip,” Alashia said, grabbing Chase’s hand and smiling at him. “I’m glad we are heading home.
