“Oh, just thinking we would check on Trey.” I say trying to act innocent. I turn to Sarah, “I really thought we could get out of this.” I say to her softly. As she nods. We start walking to the dining room. “I figured with Lance and Trey gone we would have a do-over tomorrow.” I tell my Dad shrugging my shoulders.
“Food is ready.” He is waiting at the door as he opens it everyone is sitting. Sarah and I see the open spaces between Max and Tanner. My Dad follows us in and takes his normal seat next to the old Alpha. “Well Laura Grace, your mother tells me we should be ready to leave here Wednesday after your Beta announcement over at Lost Souls.
