Anna. As I stepped into my parents' house, I let out a weary sigh, knowing my mother would be able to lift my spirits. Mr. Jenkins wasn't the only one to cancel—three others did too, and I'm starting to question whether my work is good enough after all. “It's just me!” I called out as I walked past the staircase.
