Bryant’s POV Days had passed. Bryant hadn’t heard from Yulin. Calls went unanswered. His deals faltered. The live stream he’d counted on was now a distant hope. His assistant burst in. “Sir, I found the culprit who released the video… It’s Kris.” Bryant’s face darkened. Kris? He went so low? “We can’t fight back directly,” the assistant continued. “We need damage control. Only your wife can help.” “My wife? That ungrateful fool hasn’t answered my calls,” Bryant spat. Just then, a call came through from his wife, and a gleam appeared on his face. “Why haven’t you been picking up? I need you right now! What about the live stream?” Yulin’s face was filled with fury, but she tried to remain composed. “I’ll send the address, and then we can do the live stream together. I’ll be there,” she said firmly. His assistant looked at him, bewildered. What kind of wife is this? Even after he cheated, she’s still helping him? “I told you she would not divorce me. She wouldn’t dare,” Bryant said, arrogance thick in his voice. “Pack everything we need and let’s go check the address she sent,” he added, walking away. The assistant shook his head. His boss is shameless, he thought. ------- They arrived at the Crystal Palace Hotel. Bryant scanned the lobby, wary of paparazzi. A receptionist directed them efficiently, as if expecting them. Finally, his name would be secured, he thought. Bryant and his assistant reached the suite, and the door opened. What he saw made his heart stop. He nudged his assistant, unable to believe his eyes. “It’s true,” his assistant answered calmly Who’s the fool now? His assistant scoffed internally. There, under the duvet, was his wife with Kris. Wait… what??? Bryant’s mind spun. No… I’ve been outplayed. Bryant stared at his wife, then at Kris. Words lodged painfully in his throat; he couldn’t speak. He had underestimated her, thinking she would remain passive, that she would forgive and forget. But the fire in her eyes proved him wrong. Unable to restrain himself any longer, he lunged forward, intent on tearing her apart, but his assistant grabbed him firmly. “Boss, we don’t have time for this,” his assistant said, trying to calm him down, his grip firm yet cautious. Kris watched him, suppressing a smirk. This reaction was everything he had anticipated. The fury in Bryant’s eyes wasn’t just about business; it was about secrets, about betrayal, and about pride. Kris slipped on his shirt, casually picked up his car keys, and walked toward the door, leaving Bryant dumbfounded. “This is just the beginning. You’ll pay for every damn thing,” he said, his voice cold, leaving Bryant to stew in helpless rage. Bryant couldn’t take it anymore. He shoved his assistant aside and lunged at Kris, fists raised, ready to strike. But before he could connect, Kris’s bodyguard intercepted him, shoving him violently to the floor. “.You looked pathetic,” Kris said over his shoulder, walking out with his guard, leaving Bryant seething, lying sprawled on the floor.. His face was a mask of pure anger. Across the room, Chante watched the scene unfold, trying to stifle a laugh. “Oh, the almighty Bryant, looking like a clown,” she murmured under her breath. She had expected drama, but this, this was beyond her imagination. Her curiosity piqued, she walked into the private room, shooting a sharp glare at Bryant and his assistant. The assistant flinched under her stare. Was I the one who cheated on your boss? he wondered, silently blaming the universe for putting him in this situation. Yulin POV Yulin’s lips curved into a triumphant chuckle. Mission accomplished. City Princess for a reason, she thought. She hadn’t earned the name for nothing; it was hers, earned through strategy, resilience, and sheer cunning. This was only the beginning. She glanced down at Bryant, sprawled on the floor, his pride shattered. Everything had been a setup, a carefully orchestrated plan with Kris to publicly humiliate him. Her eyes flicked to Chante, who moved swiftly to set up the live stream, her movements precise, her heart racing with excitement. Every second counted. Every detail mattered. Bryant scrambled to his feet, trying to strike her, seeing nobody guarding her. His assistant tried to hold him, but even he was struggling to contain the furious man. “Don’t fool yourself this is a live stream!” Yulin called out, her voice cold and commanding. Bryant’s legs wobbled as he lunged, the screen already alive with viewers. Comments began pouring in immediately: >FanQueen: Wait… he’s a woman-beater?! Bryant is getting divorced live! #ScandalOfTheYear >RealityCheck: Bruh… this is why you never cheat! # Lesson Learned >JusticeForWomen: Finally! She takes control of her story #Empowerment Bryant’s face burned with shame. If that wasn’t enough, a notification from his company appeared: investors were withdrawing shares, partnerships were collapsing, and his empire was crumbling before his eyes. He left the room in disgrace, his assistant trailing behind, equally embarrassed. Bryant had truly underestimated the woman he had once loved. Just divorced, huh? he thought bitterly. Maybe it’s a setup. She can’t really be done with me… right? His assistant shook his head, speechless. Memories of Yulin’s unwavering strength and dignity flashed through Bryant’s mind. He had lost more than a wife he had lost control, respect, and reputation. Yulin, meanwhile, allowed herself a small, victorious smile. She had reclaimed her reputation, but her heart remained scarred. Love was a luxury she no longer allowed herself. Bryant, the man she had once loved and sacrificed everything for, was now a mere shadow of power in her life. “Bryant, just wait… the revenge isn’t over yet,” she whispered softly as she ended the live stream. Bryant POV Bryant had barricaded himself in his private suite, aware that paparazzi had discovered his location. Every attempt to reach professional contacts for damage control had failed. His company was unraveling at lightning speed, and he was powerless to stop it. Panic clawed at him as he paced. A single thought emerged: Mitchelle. The woman he had loved or thought he loved was now unreachable. Calls went unanswered.Messages ignored. Bryant’s marriage to Yulin had never been about love; it had been a calculated move twofold: to solidify his company’s standing and to get closer to Mitchelle, his long-time crush. It was all pretense. Yet, in the face of his empire’s collapse, he realized he had underestimated the consequences of his actions. His assistant rushed in breathlessly. “Boss, news just came in. The person who sent the tape to Kris… It’s Mitchelle.” Bryant’s legs gave way; he gripped the nearest chair to steady himself. Every sin, every deceit, was now manifesting as personal and public ruin. The woman he had manipulated, the woman he had adored in his selfish way, had turned the tables. For the first time in years, Bryant allowed tears to fall freely, hot and unrestrained. The empire he had built on amb ition, lies, and lust was crumbling. His life, his image, and his control had all slipped from his grasp.
