I was woken up by Blade calling me through our mind link.
"Alpha."
I blinked a few times then looked at Amelia who was still asleep next to me. Her head was resting against my chest and my arm was around her waist, she looked at peace and calm with her eyes closed.
"I could never get used to seeing this angel sleeping next to me." I said silently.
"As cheesy as your words sound.
, I agree." Axel answered.
I smiled widely then leaned in and kissed her head.
"Are you mocking me?" I asked him calmly.
"Not really. It's just surprising how you would be saying something cheesy when you hated cheesy lines." He answered with a huff.
So he really was teasing me.
