First thing’s first. Garbage.
Wes found a box of garbage bags under the sink and did a sweep of the kitchen and living room. Beer cans and bottles, cigarette butts, full ashtrays, old magazines, sticky old magazines, dinner trays, cardboard boxes, pizza boxes, tissue boxes, an empty tube of toilet paper for some reason, and piles and piles of junk mail all went into the bag. Once it was full, Wes removed the bag from the kitchen can and tied it off as well, throwing a fresh one in. He located the broom next to the fridge (covered with cobwebs), and swept the linoleum floor of the kitchen. While he worked, his head bobbed on its own accord, listening to the thrashing guitar of Nicky’s music.
