I didn't mean to pull away from Noreen. Not at all. I could barely restrain myself from approaching her.
Dash reminded me that I needed to give her space, as I'd told her before. Noreen was hesitant, but with Jonathan between us, I was sure and confident that she wouldn't just walk away from me.
Our relationship was no longer a one-night stand.
With the mark she'd given me and vice versa, our souls had truly been tied. Although in a human-werewolf relationship, the mark isn't as essential, I'm grateful we have a child together. He's our strongest bond.
