CARSON'S POV
I had headed out after telling Anne goodbye but on getting to my car, I remembered that I had forgotten to take the reports of a patient I was to operate on that I had brought home last night to study so I headed back inside the mansion to get it.
On getting to my study, I grabbed the report from the top shelf where I had left it and headed out locking the door behind me.
When I walked by Anne's room, I also remembered that I wanted to ask her out for dinner tonight.
Just the two of us.
We had not really gotten to spend time alone with each other lately so I had planned a dinner tonight.
All that was left was for me to inform her.
I had to tell her now because I would be too busy later in the day to call or text her.
However, when I got to her room, she was not there.
