ANNE'S POV
I spent the rest of my day holed up in the library and soon, night fell.
Just as I entered my room after coming from the library, a knock sounded on my door.
"Come in." I answered and Nicole walked in.
There was something in her arms and she walked in and laid it on my bed.
It was a pink box decorated all over with paintings of a yellow daffodil.
She knelt down next to my bed and untied the straps, swung open the lids and brought out a dress and draped it on my bed.
I realized it was a dress, precisely the dress she had said she would bring up for me to wear for the party tonight.
"Its beautiful." I exclaimed in delight.
"Try it on." She urged and I picked up the gown and put it on.
It was a royal blue silk dress with a slightly plunging neckline.
