The next morning, after I woke up, I headed to the hospital.
This time, I was all alone with Cadel.
Cam had left for work, so also Carson while Nic was down with a cold.
I had entrusted her care to Lydia this morning, I had offered to stay with her but she urged me to go stay with Cadel.
On getting to the hospital, I took my seat on the sofa and dropped my bag on the small table in front of it.
I brought out my spread of bacon and eggs sandwich, preparing to eat.
I had not waited to have breakfast at home this morning but had instead packed it along to the hospital.
"Cadel do you know Can gave me a job in his publishing company. I'm so excited." My voice rang out loudly in the room.
