While Ram is in the middle of legal battle against Straus, Boon finished his extended one year internship after having to ask for maternal leave and shift adjustments. He is now ready to practice as an internist.
After five more years of residency and a few lectures to attend on the side, he may choose to stay at the hospital or practice as a family doctor. Or both.
Ram is very happy for his husband. Not to mention very proud. And at least with these moments with his beautiful family, he can forget and not worry about outside threats and problems.
"Buddy, say...doc mama." Ram talks with Finn on the soft carpeted floor in the closet while Boon gets ready for work.
