We darted through the forest ignoring Zack’s attempts to mind-link me. I knew what he would say, but I needed to know what this was about. What they wanted and how to end it. I wanted my Pack to be safe and the only way we could do it would be to meet on their terms. I knew Zack would not be far behind me, but I pushed my wolf, Lise, harder to get there ahead of everyone else.
