Kristine POV
It was not long before my parents arrived. We spent most of the day strategizing how we would tackle the situation at hand. My father had a lot of questions about the twins, but there was little I could tell them. “I have told you everything I know, dad,” I replied after he asked yet another round of questions.
“I am sorry, Kristine. I am nervous to meet them, not knowing what to expect,” he replied. It was the first time I had witnessed my father being uncertain about something. And it was hard to watch. “I do not know what to tell you or what to expect. Brittany is very angry, Mike is angry but seems to have it contained,” I shared with him.
