Destruction Of Sleep

 Nora's POV

    I was pacing in my room thinking about Ray. He is not understanding the situation, whenever I thought I can finally breathe there were instances that kept my fear intact. How am I going to convince him? My eyes fell on the kerchief which he gave. 

    "What are you confused about?" I was startled by 'A's voice. "You scared me!" I kept my hand on my chest to slow down my racing heart beat. "By the way how did you get to know I am confused about something?" I wiggled my brows for more effect.

    She raised her one brow which gave her a hot look. "Ok fine, I accept my defeat. I don't know how to raise my one brow." she laughed and I thought I succeeded in making her forget about topic, but she is hot, not dumb.

    "Now tell me what you are confused about?" With her question I slumped my shoulders. "Now now now, don't give me that look, common lets have a seat." she jumped on my bed and I took the seat near my window. 

    "He is not backing, I am afraid that history will repeat." I avoided seeing her. If I looked at her I would break down, but I had to be strong, no amount of tears or cry can solve my problem. 

    "Till when will you run away? Common Nora, you are 25, it is right time for you to settle down. I can understand but, you just live the moment. Life is too short to live so just enjoy it." Her words were right but always there is a voice reminding of the fear of past.

    We both heard Aunt Fiona calling for everyone. When we rushed uncle Landon and uncle Mike were ready with their suitcases. "What happened dad? Where are you going?" 'A' asked descending the stairs, even I followed her. 

    Shortly all my cousins were present in living room. "We are leaving to  Boston. A complication has raised in a project. Mike and me are leaving. Nat and Jason along with Anjali and Jia are leaving after two hours to California for a deal. If we got that that then it is like getting a hen which gives golden egg. "

    My uncles were grinning from ear to ear. "But dad you just arrived, we even planned a picnic tomorrow. Please dad just see if you could postpone it." 'D' pleaded with almost tears in her eyes. She was a daddy's girl. Uncle Mike hugged her and started consoling.

    Sometimes I used to wish a dad like my uncles but, that man gave me something horrible. I came out of my thoughts when uncle Lan and uncle Mike hugged me. After a while even others left. I thought 'G' will cry, but she didn't and they left 'H' with us.

    Aunt Jia knew if she took 'H' then she will not be able to concentrate on the project. We all bid our farewell, by the time I was in bed it was almost 12 at night. My head just touched the pillow, I felt like I am floating in clouds and I just slept.

    I heard my phone ringing, so I looked at the caller id and it was none other that Ray. Is he Vampire, always active in night. I thought of cutting the call, but he would again call and again disturb me, at last I have to take the call.

Me: Hellooooo……..

    My voice was totally sleepy, I thought if he gets to know then he will hang up, but I was cent percent wrong.

Raymond: "Come down, I am waiting outside the mansion and security guard here is not allowing me inside."

    Not a single thing entered my brain, I was still hoping he will hang up after hearing my sleepy voice.

Me: Hmmmm

    Still keeping the phone to my ears I was half way to my sleep when his voice boomed.

Raymond: Are you fooling me? When are you coming? I am warning you if you don't come then I will call your uncle!

    That last sentence settled in my brain, I tried getting up, my drool was over my pillow and I was completely tangled to my blanket.

Me: Coming, on the Waaaaay

    While talking a yawn escaped from me, but I never lost the hope that he will ask me to go back to sleep.

Me: Mr. Miller, I will look into it. thanks for not allowing him inside.

    I said to the security guard who guarded the front gate of mansion. As soon as I went outside I saw Ray with his coat in his right hand and he was smoking. I was seeing his back, but damn he was mouth watering. Whenever he used to take a drag his muscle would flex and I could see the some results of his workouts.

    I cleared my throat to make him aware of my presence and to not to loose my sleep. Raymond saw me, threw the bud and his eyes were staring at my down part. Why is he seeing there? Did I wet myself, but I got over that habit when I was 2 why is he staring then? When I saw what he was staring made my cheeks flush.

    I was wearing my grey shorts which had little stars of white and it was too short paired with white crop top as the summer in NY was intolerable. I again cleared my throat to get his attention.

Me: Why are you here? I was sleeping.

Raymond: I knew that, now common let us complete the uncompleted date.

    That's all he said before dragging me to his car. Now I wished aliens would come from sky and shoot the man who is dragging me with their special gun making him melt like a disgusting green liquid, but only some wishes are granted.

Me: Excuse me you can't force, if you are not observing I was sleeping dreaming about sleeping and I am not well dressed so please spare me.

    Now I was trying to release myself and was going in opposite direction. My attempts were futile as he was so strong that I didn't move an inch from the place. I never saw that coming when I was lifted from the ground that I started seeing everything upside down.

    Suddenly I was being seated in passenger seat. Until I realised we were moving far from my home. I was feeling like I will be murdered today. I only had my cell, no pepper spray, no taser. I messaged 'A' about my disappearance with Ray. 'If something happens to me then Please tell aunts and uncles I love them and all my cousins.'
