Meeting Mr. Knight

"Good morning!" I said as I entered the mansion. My uncles were having breakfast who smiled as they had their mouth full. "Where are A, B C, D, E, F, G, H?" I asked , as it was their time to go to universities and school.
"The school and universities are closed for today on the occasion of some festival of Eid" said uncle Jason sipping the coffee. "Okay uncle I will join them " I was at my room's door when aunt Anjali appeared.
"Hey, First freshen up, have breakfast and then join them." Aunt was searching something in her bag. Can I place my objection to her now? Definitely no.
I took the shower, had my breakfast as fast as possible day dreaming to sleep on my cozy bed, curled up and dreaming in warm blanket, but soon my daydreaming came to stop when uncle Mike and uncle
Lan appeared before the dining table with other to uncle whom I thought left to office.
I hugged the uncles "I missed you two." I said and uncles had their huge grin. Aunt Fiona and and aunt Cathy too started welcoming them. Now I can sleep in bed was the thought which crossed me.
"I will take rest, excuse me." I was about to get going when uncle Lan's words stopped me. "Nora, I want you to meet someone. They will be here in 15 minutes. Where are the she-devils?" I couldn't help but giggle at his words.
"Stop calling that, they are our daughters." aunt Fiona never took insults from anyone for the girls, even not from uncle.
"Wake them up Nora, I will prepare coffee for your uncles." aunt Cathy instructed me.
Now I have a job which will be tiring. I huffed and started my mission of waking them up. B, D, F were not at all a problem but the other girls like to give me the hard time.
After the tedious job of waking all of them, I headed to living room with grumbling cousins who thought it was very early to wake up.
Shock would be an underestimation if I say, there sat the one I thought that I would never meet because I thought him he is in hell as I had ordered him. You are not the jury to decide it. This sarcastic comment came from my inner voice.
"What the hell is he doing here?" my voice was loud than I intended to raise. All the cousins who ever half asleep were full awake. I whispered them the identity of man "He is FKT.He is the one that forcefully kissed me."
I just whispered it to A and now it was travelling it to all the girls. "Language Nora! Is this the way you talk to guests? " shouted aunt Cathy. She was like a military person in our family, everything organised, everything according to the rule.
"Sorry" I quickly said to avoid the further humiliation in front of the guests.
"Do you know him Nora?" asked uncle Nat
I was about to tell, but FKT intervened "Yes, we have met." with a sexy smirk on his face and the smug look that made him more handsome. I need to definitely go to the Church.
I saw my cousins are not beside me, but they all came surrounding FKT with some items.
A, B had butcher and vegetable knife.
C,D had the cricket bat and baseball bat
The twins had large book.
G had the water gun pointing at FKT and H had crawled her way to FKT's legs.
I really thought my eyes were deceiving as FKT gulped looking at the women's army in in front of him. The elderly couple who sat beside the sofa of FKT were eyeing my cousins with wide yes.
Aunts were trying their best to control the situations where as uncle were trying to pry the positions of their daughters.
"Just give us some time Mr. Knight I would like to have little talk with my daughters." Uncle Lan appeared to be too sweet from outside but he was anything but sweet from inside. I can see the embarrassment + anger in side him. The only thing remaining was the smoke from his ears and nose.
I was thinking of escaping when A dragged me with her. After about fifteen minutes of lecture 'How we need to respect the guests even if he is a murderer' was done. When murderer is respected, they will definitely respect my first kiss thief which was stolen forcefully.
When everyone were dispersed after the lecture "I need have a word with you Nora." uncle's order was clear so I stayed with him in room.
"The one who you met is a very important client for me. Please don't misunderstand me, but the younger Knight is interested in you. He wants to try where it goes if he dates you." I just listened what uncle said. He is interested in me? Why? I am boring right?
"I want you to try dating him Nora." uncle's words hit me hard. I looked at him wide eyed. It is not that he did not love me. He was the one who always protected me and took extra care. Now all of a sudden he was asking me something.
"But uncle why?" I couldn't hide my curiosity. Uncle took a long sigh "Frim past six years you are ensuring me of finding boyfriend for yourself. But now I am tired of waiting. Till when will you be single? Even you need to make yourself a family. I want you to be happy." uncle said cupping my face.
I knew that face. This face of my uncle was to convince me to do certain things. The only thing I didn't find a boyfriend was everyone who I dated would always tried to have s*x, but I didn't want to end with a guy like my father.
"I will try." I said not meeting his eyes. I was not at all interested in this dating, but I cannot see my uncle upset. I could see the happiness in his eyes.
We both made our way to living room. "Mr. Knight, she is ready." Uncle Lan's words made the Knights smile. All my aunties were confused. Uncle Jason and uncle Nat wore the same expression as my aunties.
My cousins were fuming and spitting the draggers on Mr. Knight and uncle Lan. A genius is not required to tell that my cousins just did not eavesdrop the conversation of me and my uncle.
"I have little things to talk to your uncle. Why don't Lenora accompany Ray to the gardens Mr. D'Costa?" Mrs. Knight placed her opinion. I mentally strangled her and chocked her to death.
Uncle was about to order me when my dear cousin A stood in front of her dad. "We all will accompany Mr. Knight to gardens and I am not letting them alone. God knows where did you brought this jokers to our house." the last sentence was supposed to be in low tone only to be heard by uncle Lan, but we all heard her.
She gestured the other girls to come with her. I waited for Mr. Knight to follow me.
"Do you all stay here? I mean in a single house?" asked Mr. Knight to which I just nodded. "I wanted to say sorry for my behaviour with you during our first meet." his fumbling words caught my attention. He was sorry after is stole my first kiss forcefully or he was sorry as he practically ordered me to go on a date with him.
"Can we forget about it and move on?" the question from him had my eyes narrowing. "No!" I heard a chorus behind me. The cousins of mine were scowling.
"You FKT, forcefully took her kiss and now you want to move on! definitely not possible." C said showing her bad girl attitude which only came during situations like threatening someone.
"I am sorry, I think you have gotten my name wrong. I am Raymond. Knight not FKT" Oh lord these girls can't keep their moth shut.
"Why me?" he looked at me confused. "Why do you want to date me?"I asked him catching him of guard. The happy expression which he had suddenly turned dark. Now his presence was giving me the bad vibe.
"Why not you?" was his answer. The dark aura was present, but his face soon resembled the normal expression.
"I was thinking we could go on date?" The only topic I wanted to avoid came to me by FKT. "I am busy this week." I said and it was true. Between all the night shifts I had a lot of work.
"Okay then I will pick you on next Friday at eight for our first date. Bye" That's it he didn't even ask me whether I was ok with this date night and just left from the place.
"I don't know what uncle Lan saw in him." said E with a scowl.
"Uncle Lan's decision is always has a meaning. Don't worry Nora, you have us." D's words gave me the little encouragement required.
I just wish it's a wise decision.
