Mac gave in to Ted's request. He escorted him to Plaridel’s private cemetery. Ted headed to a big mausoleum which was comparable to the mausoleum of the rich people in Milana. Mac assisted Ted with the arm, who walked slowly due to swollen feet, and he also helped him break the rusty iron chain of the iron grate gate. The inside was dirty and dusty, a sign that it had not been visited for a long time. Mac read the name carved on the tombstone, Veronica Trinidad.
