Ted regained consciousness and he cried and cried. The big wound on his forehead caused him so much pain. Veronica covered the wound with her clothes and pressed it for the blood to stop flowing.
"Son, the pain will go away. Mama will kiss it." Veronica hugged her son and kissed Ted’s forehead while their tears kept flowing.
Young Ted was crying not only for the wound and pain he had suffered but also for his hurt mother. His young mind could not fully understand why they were suffering.
