I waved to a taxi outside and it stopped. Just as I was about to enter, feeling exhausted, a firm hand appeared and shut the door. I was shocked.
“You can go. I already told you I’ll take you to the hostel” His eyes were dark as I stared at him while my taxi left.
“You did but I didn’t say I would be following you” I replied and a car sped past me, the force pushing me into his chest as fear enveloped me.
“Be careful, are you okay?” He questioned seriously and I took in a breath, inhaling his deep masculine cologne. I pushed him away immediately but he grabbed my wrist.
“How can I let you go alone with how unbothered you are on the road? Follow me, I’ll take you home” Before I could protest he was already pulling me towards his car.
