Inside a dark room, a young girl was crying. With her looks, anyone would surely be charmed and would have wanted to ask her the reason for her distress to get a chance to even talk with her. It's a pity that no one was able to see her as she is now, if not then they too might have felt a desire to be of help to her. This young girl was Hannah.
Just right after she returned from Cray's house, her mother had passed away. She left behind a silver-colored ring and her last words saying "Take this ring and take care of it and yourself from now on okay? And, be happy with Cray, I'm sure you'll be a happy couple." Hannah remembered those words that her mother had said. She passed away with a happy looking smile.
With the sudden turn of events, her mother which she knew had some sort of incurable illness suddenly collapsed and the moment that she returned home after coming from Cray’s house, she was just near death’s doorstep. Although she had been prepared as her mother had already told her that one day she might suddenly die, she still felt the pangs of sadness that came with the sense of loss towards a loved one.
The continuous turn of events made her feel so angry against the unfair world who kept on taking away things from her. Angry, with herself and the fact that whatever she did would only do little to no difference to what she had as of now.
"Why?" Tears slowly fell down her cheeks as she cried out. She wanted to bring back her mother and ask her that. But she couldn't, all she could do was patiently wait for Cray to return. She didn't know what else to do, in fact even if she knew, she wouldn't be able to take any proper action with her current state. She once again felt that she was too powerless.
At that time, she still hadn't noticed it but when she wore the ring, her beautiful blonde hair suddenly received a touch of white with a faint trace of silver turning her into a platinum blonde beauty. Her eyes flashed with determination and a fire that could no longer be extinguished. Her simple desire to become stronger than anyone. To no longer feel the helplessness that she felt because of her powerlessness. She had resolved herself and was prepared to take extra measures to get more power. At this moment the woman who shall be renowned as The Silver Sword was born.
Meanwhile, Cray was currently in the hands of the noblewoman who had captured him by chasing after him which then resulted in her having to knock him out. She carried his body on her shoulder and was preparing to head out. Just as she took her first step a dagger was plunged on the ground near her foot.
"What is the meaning of this?" Alect with a frown sharply looked at the direction that the dagger was thrown from. It was late when she noticed it but when she looked back and happened to see the various silhouettes of men who had already cut off her escape. She was surrounded without her even noticing.
A man who appeared to be in his teens wearing black clothes and a black veil masking his face appeared out from the shadows as he took back the dagger that he threw. When he took a dagger, a black ring was apparent on his right hand. "You see here Missy, that boy you're holding, I also need him, you know?" The man with a threatening voice pointed the cold black pointy dagger towards Alect.
"Did you possibly think that you could overpower me with just your numbers? You must be joking!" Alect then swiftly took out her sword with her right hand while dropping Cray's body from her left. She then closed in towards the black-clothed man and was preparing to pierce straight through him. But the moment that she did she was dumbfounded because she didn't feel any resistance that was supposed to happen every time she pierced through someone with her sword. It was like striking through nothing but thin air.
It was at that moment when she instantly recognized the fact that this was just nothing but a diversion. Since she knew what they were after she felt her hands turn sweaty. And as she looked back, she saw that she was right as Cray's body was no longer anywhere to be found. The men who were surrounding her had also slowly melted into the shadows. She was deceived!
Since she did not recognize the fact that she was already surrounded until the very last moment, she had completely overestimated the strength of the group as a whole and as a result, she thought that she should immediately target the leader of the group which confronted her. She never felt this frustrated in her life. She was flustered and wanted to chase after them as soon as possible.
However, after losing her objective, she now returned back to being cool-headed and once again realized just how much she was outsmarted when all of a sudden she remembered the fact that there was only one certain kind of group who could do these kinds of things. Her body shivered as she made this realization and thought that with this level of deception, there might not have been even a group that surrounded her. This meant that they were also just a part of the diversion and she might have possibly been just tricked, outsmarted, and bamboozled all by just one person.
Back when she was still young she had always seen her grandfather as someone amazing. He was kind and a person who tended to remain calm and composed no matter what the situation was, but at that time she saw the hatred of her grandfather when he had ordered the extermination of a certain group called the Shadow Lurkers.
As a noble, she had been privileged enough to be able to train herself as a knight at a very young age, that is why she had become surprised and terrified when she had for the first time seen the crazed look of her grandfather as he ruthlessly killed even the young of the tribe. To this day she had thought that no more of their blood was still alive as her grandfather's order was backed by the emperor, so they rid the world of those with their blood.
"As I thought, that was a shadow lurker." She had a clue at the moment she had pierced through a clone of the enemy. "The ability to manipulate the shadows. This is going out of hand. I first need to report this to the higher-ups!"
Meanwhile, inside thick forests of Zone 10, a young man was taking deep breaths while he was sweating bullets. He had just used something beyond his current ability. He might not have escaped if Alec seriously tried to track him down as she was superior in terms of power, speed, and experience.
The young man removed his mask as he took out a black orb and channeled his energy towards it. A face soon appeared within the orb. "Chen Clan head, Azure Spear, I have successfully secured the Einder descent." The young man with golden blonde hair smiled brightly towards the orb, he then showed Cray to present his appearance towards the man on the other side of the orb.
"No need to be formal Stan, didn't I tell you to just call me uncle Ye? Anyways good job on accomplishing the mission. Immediately head towards the sacred lands on the Southern Continent. I'll meet up with you there." The black orb suddenly lost its contact with the head of the Chen Clan.
On the other side of the Continent, a blue orb had just cut its contact with the black orb. The man who was sitting on a weirdly shaped chair was smiling at the thought of the devious plan that he had made on his head. "Finally, the descent of the Einder blood has come! Oh, how long have I waited for this moment!" He had then started to laugh hysterically alone in his seemingly small but luxurious throne room. The skies shuddered as the strong thunder crackled along matching him in his laughter
"The time is near!"
"THE WORLD SHALL KNOW FEAR!"
The man who was just laughing like a maniac slowly stood up and walked outside his room as he held an azure-colored spear that was emitting sparks. On his right hand was also another ring, this time it was the same color to that of his orb and spear.
