Cray had once more been captured by an enemy and he had yet to wake up.
The reason for such was not only because of him being injected with a sleeping pill that was made by Natasha but because he had Note with him.
"What- Where is this place?" Cray uttered as he looked at the dark corridor that laid in front of him.
"Cray"
A voice that was giving out a very familiar and warm feeling could be heard.
"I don't know what this is but, somehow I feel sad." As he said that a tear had dropped on the cold hard floor.
He suddenly felt pangs of pain on his chest. He was finding it hard to breathe.
"Why? Why am I crying?" Cray looking confused as he clutched his chest while he wipes his tears away.
The power on his body had left all of a sudden. He then knelt as he gave out sobbing sounds. Although he had not known this man for almost his entire life, he felt the connection between the two of them. It was like certain emotions were being spoon-fed directly to him.
"Cray, it's okay." The voice once again called out to him.
When Cray heard the voice, it came from a much closer place. It felt like it was just right in front of him. He then lifted his head only to see a man who somehow resembles him.
If others were to look at them then they would be thought of as brothers.
"Father," Cray uttered.
He didn't know anything about his biological father. He also didn't know the circumstances and the mysteries that had been surrounding his father. But at this moment, he just knew. This man was undeniably his father.
He then embraced this man as the man kept on calling his name lovingly.
"It's been a long time, Cray." The man smiled as he looked at his son.
After they Cray had calmed down, the man spoke. "This is the first time you saw me looking like this right? It's the same for me too. You've grown so much. You used to be just this small when I last saw you."
The man-made funny gestures as he was describing how Cray looked like when he was still there with him.
"Bu-but didn't you die already? How could you still appear in front of me? Does this mean that- Did I die?" Cray slowly fumbled as he racked his brain.
His father laughed at him. "You're not yet dead. Your consciousness is just inside the necklace that Note gave you." He then helped Cray up after he ruffled Cray's hair.
"Before all that let me properly introduce myself. I am Nicholas "Vier" Anderson, I am the fourth descendant of the Einder bloodline, and am your father." All of a sudden, the air around Nicholas changed. He emitted an aura fit to be a ruler.
Meanwhile, Stan had just finished interrogating Natasha, he took out the similar potion that Natasha had used to turn into Cray from one of her pockets. He then dropped Natasha's lifeless body on the side of the road and hid it in the dark. Just as he did so, he heard the group of soldiers who were tasked to escort Natasha back.
Stan then drank the potion and wore a hood. "Miss Natasha, we're here to escort you back. Stan, assuming Natasha's figure nodded. He was aware that if he ever spoke then his cover would be broken.
That is because the effects of the potion would only change the outer appearance, nothing more nothing less. Though it might sound a bit pathetic because all it could do was change the appearance of a person, in the right hands, however, it would become a deadly asset.
Most of the time this kind of potions would only be usable for a couple of minutes, a high-grade potion would be able to last for ten minutes, but the potion that Stan had taken in could last for a whole hour and that was a huge disparity compared to others. That is why Natasha had once been called a genius.
Stan, still acting like Natasha was urged to ride with the other soldiers. Even though he might look as calm as stone, in reality, he was pretty anxious. He didn't know where Cray was, and he couldn't even look for him. The worst part was that they were still in the middle of the enemy camp and a simple mistake could result in possibly blowing his cover.
Just when he was still cautiously observing the rest of the squad members, a screen suddenly popped out in front of him. Without showing that he was surprised he sat straight like a statue.
A face appeared and that face belonged to Robert. "Natasha, did you do what I asked you to do?" He looked excited as he spoke.
Stan not knowing what to do, began nodding his head. He thought that it would be the task of killing him. But right after he nodded, he made a mistake and he noticed it in that split moment. He could still remember that Natasha was searching his body back then. His dagger was probably what Robert was after. He wanted to curse out loud but since he couldn't he just swore in his mind.
"Great! I could use a new weapon." He smiled as he looked at Natasha's figure. Stan didn't want to accept that he would lose his weapon here. But still assuming the role of Natasha he took out his dagger and showed it to Robert.
"Oh! It looks even better now that I've looked at it closely. Alright, bring it to me later when we arrive at the Capital." Robert's face then disappeared from the screen followed by the disappearance of the screen itself.
Internally Stan was panicking. They were now headed towards the Capital. It was currently the most dangerous place that they could ever be in. The moment they entered it, they would be directly entering a monster's mouth as food. They would be surrounded by enemies no matter where they hide they would be found.
He needs to contact his uncle Ye to help him. With everything getting out of hand, he could only accept the fact that this was probably out of his capability to do anymore.
Uncle Ye, however, had just received a call from a certain someone that he didn't expect to show up after a long time. When he took out the blue crystal he was surprised to find the successor of the Golden Ring to still be alive. He had thought that it's bearer might have already died back on the Central Continent.
"Ye Chen I presume?" A faint woman's voice could be heard. "I am Anastasia Vi Valeria, the bearer of the Golden Ring, and the owner of the Golden Bullet Company."
