BAILEY Once Holden is settled on the couch with some warm tea on the table next to him, Ash and I head upstairs to let him rest. Most of the pack is still celebrating well into the night, but I just don’t have the energy tonight. Between all the magic I used today and finding out a traitor poisoned Holden, I just want to relax. “I’m so proud of you, sweetheart.” Ash whispers from my side, enveloping my hand with his much larger one. “You fought so hard, so fiercely. I always believed in you.” “Thank you, my love. But technically I didn’t kill him, so I shouldn’t get all the credit.” I joke, making us both chuckle as we enter our room.
