It’s okay, babe. I’ve got you. Just trust me.”
Under the quiet moonlight, two hearts that had been running from each other finally met, their love taking its first real step forward.
When it was over, Princess buried her face against Phoenix’s chest, breathless and trembling. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close as if he never wanted to let go.
“You’re mine now,” he murmured against her hair. “And I swear, I’ll make sure you never regret tonight.”
Princess closed her eyes, her lips curving into the smallest, shyest smile. For the first time in her life, she felt completely safe — completely his.
Princess’s breath hitched when she felt Phoenix getting closer, her whole body tense and trembling.
“Relax, babe,” Phoenix whispered, his voice low and soothing as he brushed his lips against her temple. “I won’t hurt you. Trust me.”
But when he tried to enter her, Princess gasped softly, her fingers digging into his shoulders.
“Phoenix… it hurts,” she admitted in a shaky voice, her eyes squeezing shut.
Phoenix froze immediately, brushing her hair back from her face. “Look at me,” he said softly, waiting until she opened her teary eyes. “We’ll go slow. I promise.”
He kissed her gently, taking his time, letting her adjust, whispering to her between kisses.
Little by little, Princess’s tense body began to relax, her breathing deepening as the pain started to fade.
Phoenix moved carefully, almost reverently, as though memorizing her — every curve, every sound she made.
The only thing filling the room was the quiet rhythm of their breathing, and Princess’s soft, unguarded sounds that made Phoenix’s chest tighten with emotion.
“You’re so beautiful,” he murmured against her lips, his voice rough. “You have no idea what you’re doing to me.”
Princess clung to him, her voice trembling with every breath. “Phoenix…”
He kissed her again, longer this time, letting the moment consume them until nothing existed but the two of them — the moonlight, their heartbeats, and the quiet, tender sound of love being made for the first time.
When everything finally slowed, Phoenix rested his forehead against hers, both of them breathing hard.
“You’re mine now,” he whispered, brushing a tear from her cheek. “And I’ll spend every day proving I deserve you.”
Princess closed her eyes and let out a shaky breath, feeling safe in his arms despite of everything.
The room was quiet now, lit only by the soft glow of the moon.
Princess lay on the bed, her head resting against Phoenix’s chest, feeling the steady rise and fall of his breathing. Her body was still trembling, but this time not from fear — from the rush of emotions she couldn’t quite explain.
Her first thought was how much it had hurt. The moment when Phoenix first touched her that way had made her gasp and hold her breath, but he had been patient, whispering to her, guiding her slowly until the pain faded and was replaced with something… different.
Something she never knew she could feel.
Her cheeks burned just thinking about it.
“I’m really crazy,” she whispered to herself.
But as she glanced up at Phoenix, who was watching her silently with those intense eyes, she didn’t feel regret. Instead, she felt safe. Protected. Wanted.
And for the first time, she felt like she belonged somewhere — with someone.
I wanted my first kiss to be with the man I’d marry, she thought, brushing her fingers over his chest. But maybe… maybe that man really is Phoenix.
She closed her eyes, letting the warmth of his arms surround her.
Phoenix brushed his lips against her hair and murmured, “You okay, babe?”
Princess nodded, whispering, “Yes. Just… thinking.”
He smirked faintly, pulling her closer. “Don’t think too hard. Just stay here with me.”
Princess swallowed, then whispered back, “I will.”
That night, she made her decision: she wouldn’t run anymore. Whatever this was — whatever this feeling growing inside her was — she wanted to face it. With Phoenix.
The first rays of morning sunlight slipped through the curtains, gently waking Princess.
Her body ached, reminding her of everything that happened last night. She squeezed her eyes shut, burying her face in the pillow as heat rushed to her cheeks.
“Oh my God…” she whispered to herself. “I really let that happen.”
Before she could think any further, she felt a warm hand brush her hair away from her face.
“Morning, babe,” Phoenix said softly, his deep voice sending shivers through her.
Princess froze for a second before slowly turning her head to look at him. He was lying on his side, propped up on one elbow, his messy hair making him look unfairly handsome.
“Y-you’re awake,” she stammered.
He smirked. “I’ve been awake. Watching you think so hard you might explode.”
Princess quickly sat up, pulling the blanket up to her chin, her face bright red. “Stop teasing me!”
Phoenix chuckled, sitting up too and tugging the blanket just enough to make her glare at him.
“You’re cute when you’re shy,” he said, his tone softening. Then his hand reached out and gently touched her cheek. “You okay? Are you sore?”
Princess hesitated but nodded. “A little…”
His eyes softened immediately, guilt flickering across his face. “I was too rough, wasn’t I?”
“No!” she said quickly, shaking her head. “It just… it was my first time. I wasn’t ready for how much it would… feel.”
Phoenix let out a slow breath, then leaned in and kissed her forehead.
You’re mine now,” he murmured. “And I’m not going anywhere. So next time…” he paused, smirking just a little, “…I’ll make sure you’re not sore after.”
Princess’s face turned bright red again, and she smacked his shoulder. “Stop saying things like that!”
