Joanne Willis, a former American University student in France, found herself in a Pichard cage on her third day at school. She made the mistake of informing one of her newly assigned history instructors that she, Joanne, knew far more about European history than the professor. When class ended, Joanne found herself being escorted by two uniformed guards to a lower level of the classroom building, forced to strip out of her new school uniform and, encouraged by a low voltage cattle prod, thrust into a mid-sized Pichard.
