Caius had to work the rest of the day, and although I told him I was not mad, I was upset I could not help. Not having him around for a few days would be hard, but I knew he had a duty as the prince to help surrounding packs.
Stormy was a strong Lycan, confident she could help fight the rogues with Silver, but she agreed with Caius this time. I could not risk harming the pups.
Caius would be busy the rest of the afternoon and suggested I walk and explore some of the palace grounds. It was safe for me to walk around alone so long as I remained right by the palace.
