Voices filled the entire office, everyone discussing the charges brought against Alpha Samuel, and then silence as the doors opened for him to enter.
The look on his face was priceless when he saw me sitting next to Caius. I would have loved to know what was going through his head at that moment.
I gave him a small smile as he sat down; Stormy howled within me, “We won, and he knows it,” she cheered.
Two vampires remained standing behind Alpha Samuel, and from their looks, I assumed it was Blaze and Emerald. Both of them were very unhappy to see me and Phoenix sitting in the room.
The atmosphere was tense as everyone sat silently. I took the opportunity to glare into Samuel's eyes. I was not afraid. I was strong and angry. I wanted that to imprint in his mind.
