I was asleep in no time as my mind whisked me away to a strange dream world. I was near a magnificent body of water with a huge, majestic waterfall. I admired the water as I heard a branch snap behind me.
I froze. "Caius," I whimpered. The scent seemed oddly familiar.
I turned around and faced a tall gentleman similar in age to me. He stood scanning my body with his eyes in silence. I shifted my foot, trying to take the opportunity to run.
