"How much longer must I deal with Adam?" I snapped at Darien as I stepped out of the hot shower.
"Just a little longer, love. Today is the last day you need to push your power into him, and tomorrow, you will gather the strength of the lost souls in the forest and push that into Adam, finishing the gateway between realms," he responded as he pulled my wet body against his.
"Towel," I said, looking into the demon's eyes.
