Five years later
It was our annual group vacation, and I was ready to relax.
The warm afternoon light shined brightly as I took comfort under the shade. Laughter and screams of joy filled the small beach by the lake as the pups ran around playing with each other.
Caius and I always found ourselves busy as of late, but we took pride in our positions, ensuring the kingdom ran smoothly. In just a few years, we accomplished so much, building a stronger army, a relationship with the citizens, and a kingdom now full of mixed species.
The peace treaty with the vampires is still in full effect, and we have formed a better working relationship with them.
Rogues always tend to be an issue, but the warriors of the kingdom grew in numbers and can now easily handle any problem.
