One week later
The week went by fast, and today was the day we left for the lake house.
I offered to delay the trip and wedding ceremony after what Caius told me in the dream realm, but he assured me it was safe for us to travel and matters were currently under control.
Caius took my advice and spoke with the King about releasing Sapphire. The King would prepare a formal offer for her release if Alpha Samuel once again pledged his loyalty and warriors to the kingdom.
