I couldn't sleep; the only thing I could think about was Celia's eyes.
My mate looked haunted when she came to visit; the dark powers she possessed were consuming her, and it was killing me inside that I had to let her go.
She came to me dressed in lingerie, careless about how much of her body she was exposing. It made me sick knowing the demon and Lycan King had their hands all over her. Celia's belly was getting bigger by the day with our pups. I missed out on so much of her pregnancy and was determined to make that up to her.
