She was on the back of my bike, clinging desperately to me, and I could almost convince myself it wasn’t about the blatant fear of being on a motorcycle for the first time, but instead about a deep desire for me. Almost. What worried me wasn’t that she was doing that, but that I was so interested in her doing that. How much I wanted her to want me.
