Chapter 5 Before going to Cherrapunji, Uday went back home and against his father’s and grandmother’s wishes, met his friends. They again gathered at Lucky’s tubewell.
“You have grown so thin, Garry. What happened?” Uday asked emaciated Garry.

“What happened?”
“Nothing, some liver issue.” He tried to divert the issue.
“So, Lucky. How’s everything going on? What now after college?” Uday asked.
