Unexpectedly Meeting You

Chapter 3

I opened my eyes, and a beautiful lady is right in front of me, smiling and looking at me like she was studying my face. I was locked into her eyes… it’s violet… then I bolt up straight in from the bed. I thought I was just dreaming. She’s still looking at me like she’s amused. That’s when I noticed that she’s… naked… again.

I rolled my eyes. “For Pete’s sake, don’t remove your clothes in front of me ever again… I don’t know what to do when that happens.” I said and cover her body with the sheets.

I stood up out of bed, she tried to follow me. “Wait, wear this.” I gave her the robe. She didn’t do anything and just stared at it. I rolled my eyes and put on the robe on her myself and tied it tightly… just to be sure.

I went to the living room, she followed. I took the phone to order some breakfast. “What do you want to eat?” no response from her aside from just staring at me questionably, like she doesn’t understand me at all. Oh I forgot she can’t speak. So I just ordered some random food that I think girls would like.

We waited and sat on the couch; she’s just following and do the things that I would do. She’s like s child.  I turned on the T.V to cut down the weirdness, she made some noises, I watched her, she looks afraid on the T.V? her eyes became yellow, and covered her ears.

“It’s alright. Calm down.” I said and reached her with my arms. She relaxed and cuddled herself in me.

“See? You push this buttons and it will change channels.” I showed her how to use it and that it will not harm her. her eyes went back to violet. I think violet means she’s calm down. She’s weird. . She reached for the remote and pushed a button, some screams from a movie made her jump unto me. “It’s alright, they won’t hurt you.” I said and stroked her hair.

I gave her the remote; she took it again and pushed some buttons. I observed her, she looked happy when pushing some buttons; it’s like her first time seeing technology like this. I shook my head, is that still possible in this time? The T.V changed channels to CNN, HBO, Discovery Channel, then to… Sponge bob square pants. She stopped changing channels and stayed on it. I rolled my eyes. Great.  Another spongebob fan.

“Who lives in a pineapple under the sea….” The pirate in the frame said.

“Sponge Bob Square Pants.” Some kid’s voice answered.

She giggled. I looked at her, it’s the first time that I heard her voice. It’s beautiful. Then her eyes became green, it’s a deep green, like the color of nature.

“You can talk?” I asked, she giggled and there’s a voice, it means she can produce sound so there’s a possibility that she can talk.

She just looked at me and smiled. And then back to the T.V.

“Room service.” Someone said at the door. I walked to the door and let the food in.

“Food is here.” I said. She looked at me. “You’re hungry aren’t you?”  She totally ignored me and her eyes are focused on the food, her eyes are pressed together then bit her lower lip. Yeah, I bet she’s salivating right now.

I sat beside her and gave her a sandwich.  She grabbed it and ate it greedily. “Slowdown piggy.” I said, grabbing a sandwich for myself and smiled at her. She laughed… like spongebob did… yes she did exactly like how spongebob would laugh.

“What was that?” I said, my eyes are wide open. Again she just smiled and I am completely speechless.

We watched and continued eating. She reached for the chocolate cake, so she’s also one of the girls who like chocolates. Crumbs and icing are all over her face. She’s eating and sawing her feet just like a child would do. She didn’t even care that she’s a mess. I reach her face and took off some chocolate from her face; she looked at me and smiled. She’s really pretty. I put her hair to her ear; I noticed that she has lots of earrings with different colors. She noticed that I was looking at it.

“Sorry.” I said and took my hands away from her.

Then she rubbed her hand to the robe to clean her hand and took one of her earrings and put it on mine.

“Oh no, it’s alright, you don’t have to repay me or anything.” I said, thinking that she did that because I helped her. But she ignored me and put the earring on one of my ears. “Thank you.” Is all that I can say.

“it’s for your protection, my knight.” A voice said. I thought it was this girl, but she didn’t even open her mouth.

“Did you hear that?” I asked the girl. She smiled.

“My name is Neola Stacia .” The voice said again. But no one is talking.

I looked around me. “Who are you?” I said loudly.

“It is me my precious knight.” I heard and the girl’s hand went into face and turned it to face her.

“You?... but… y-you can’t talk.”

“I can’t physically, but I can enter your mind and communicate with you.” She said.

“What do you mean?... what are you?” Now I’m totally freaking out.

“Do not be afraid, I will not hurt you, in fact I need you.”

It’s so strange talking like this. She’s not even making any noise, but in my mind she’s talking to me.

“Huh?”

“You are the chosen one, the one who will be knight.”

I laughed. “Okay, now this is completely crazy… I’m just dreaming, William Fox, you need to wake up now.” I stood up, away from her and talked to myself.

I faced her again trying to comprehend some words that she said.

“So… you name is Ne- noel?”

“it's Neola, meaning New.”

I nodded...

“But you can’t talk right?”

“Physically no, but mentally yes, but only to you.” She said.

“What are you then?”

“I can’t tell you yet, be patient my knight.”

I exhaled loudly and shake my hand. “hooo, hooo.”

It took me seconds to be able to talk again.

“Why do you keep on saying ‘My Knight’?”

“Because you are.” She simply said. She’s looking at me straight in my eyes.

“No, you must be mistaken, I’m William Fox. I am working at the Zorbe company since I graduated from college with my bestfriend, and my parents are dead.” I said.

“You’re the one who took me in when I was in need.”

“Yeah, but anyone will do that.”

“No they won’t. Some people will just took advantage of me.”

I blushed, yeah maybe they would when they saw some hot, beautiful and naked girl being so helpless.

“Well, yeah maybe some will, but don’t generalize.”

She just smiled. That captivating smile.

There was a pause.

“So… where do you come from?”

“I came from the kingdom of Althea.”  

I raised my eyebrow. “I didn’t know that this town is ruled by king and queens.”

“It is much farther from here my knight.”

“Oh.”

Big pause again. I don’t know what to say. This is so unreal.

“So… you know where you live?”

“Yes.”

“Can you call them and fetch you here?”

“I’m afraid I can’t, there has been some problems that my people are facing now, and I am forced to escape for my safety.” She explained.

“You’re in danger?”

“Yes, I am.” She said, now her eyes are orange. That was the same colored that appeared when I asked her about home last night and she cried, I think that meant she’s sad.

“Do you have any relatives around?”

“I know no one.”

“Well… how about friends?”

She shook her head.

I don’t know what to do. I jerked my head and my sight caught my reflection on the mirror. I went nearer, the earring that was on my ear, it’s different. It didn’t even have a lock, it just went through my skin.

“What the …” I said touching it, trying to remove it. But I can’t.

I looked at her. Now she’s sitting straight like a royalty.

“What is this?”

“Like what I said, it’s for your own protection my knight.”

“Protection for what?” I said.

“They will hunt you too, because you are the chosen one.” She said calmly.

“What are you talking about?”

“The moon chose you, to be with me.”

“Are you kidding me?”

No response, she just smiled. Now I look so stupid, I can only hear my voice out loud. I breathed in and out.

She’s a weird girl, who likes to cling to me naked. She saying some weird stuff about me being the chosen one, being her knight, and that the moon chose me. Not just that, she also said that her life is in danger as well as mine. How crazy is that? And she likes Sponge Bob.
