Charles felt a surge of helplessness as he watched Danjuma lead Tina away from the group. He wanted to intervene, to protest, but a firm hand clamped down on his shoulder, holding him back. He turned to see Old Man Yolovich shaking his head, his eyes warning Charles not to take action. Old Man Yolovich then stepped forward, positioning himself in Danjuma's path. "I need you to be transparent with this trial," he said, his voice firm but measured. "Don't use the country's power to settle personal grudges." Danjuma's face twisted in a scowl, his eyes flashing with anger. "That has nothing to do with you!" he retorted, his voice rising. "I'll settle my grudge however I want."
