  Ethan did not move. Just arched a brow. "So I have been assigned to breakfast duty now? Bold. Did not realize consent was not part of your process."   Lydia snorted. "Oh please, consent is boring." Then her eyes widened, and she quickly amended, "For pancakes! Consent for pancakes is boring. For other stuff, it is, you know, mandatory and everything."
