The morning felt normal, too normal. I sat with my friends after lecture, chatting lightly about weekend assignments. I was still glowing from the memory of lying on Jordan’s chest the night before.
Then my smile froze.
Across the courtyard, near the faculty block, Jordan stood with Mercy, that Mercy. The girl who made it no secret she liked Jordan. She was laughing at something he said, her hand casually brushing his arm like she had every right to touch him.
My chest tightened.
Jenny noticed my stare. “What’s wrong?”
I looked away quickly. “Nothing.”
But it was something.
I avoided Jordan for the rest of the day.
I ignored him when we passed him near the cafeteria, pretended not to see him when he called my name across the quad.
By the time the day ended, my mood was a mess of anger, jealousy, and hurt.
My phone buzzed after dinner.
Jordan: Where have you been? You didn’t text me all day.
I stared at the message, thumb hovering before replying:
Me: Busy.
Another message came almost instantly.
Jordan: Busy ignoring me?
I locked my phone and shoved it in my back pocket, my heart racing. Let him sweat, I thought.
I and Jenny were walking back toward the hostel when Jordan appeared, leaning casually against the wall near the gate.
Jenny froze. “Uh-oh.”
I tried to keep walking, but Jordan pushed off the wall and blocked my path.
“Jenny,” Jordan said quietly but firmly, “can you give us a minute?”
Jenny hesitated, then walked ahead.
I turned to follow her, but Jordan’s hand caught my wrist, not hard, just enough to stop me.
“Stay,” he said, his voice calm but commanding.
My heart thumped, and I stayed.
Jordan walked beside me slowly, his tone low. “You’ve been avoiding me all day. Want to tell me why?”
I glared at him. “Why don’t you ask Mercy?”
Jordan blinked, then chuckled softly. “That’s what this is about?”
I looked away, embarrassed and angry.
Jordan’s smile turned serious. “Come with me. Let’s talk properly.”
I hesitated, then followed him.
No one said a word as we walked past the hostel blocks and headed to the male hostel blocks. The silence was heavy but not hostile, i didn't know why i was excited as we stepped into the male hostel block.
When we reached Jordan’s room, I hesitated again, then stepped inside.
Jordan sat me on the edge of his bed and dragged a chair opposite to me crouching slightly so he was at my eye level.
“You’re really mad at me,” he said, almost amused.
I folded my arms and looked away.
Jordan gently took my chin and tilted it toward him. “Look at me.”
I met his eyes, stubborn but nervous.
“There is nothing going on with me and Mercy,” he said slowly, clearly. “i know you must have heard something about us,but there's nothing from my own end, That’s it.”
I didn’t answer.
Jordan’s lips quirked. “You’re jealous.”
“I am not jealous,” I snapped.
Jordan chuckled, low and warm. “You are. And it’s cute.”
My cheeks heated. “Stop calling me cute.”
Jordan leaned closer, voice softer. “Then stop ignoring me.”
Something in me melted at the way he said it like it actually bothered him.
Jordan grabbed his phone. “I’m ordering dinner. You’re staying until you calm down.”
I rolled my eyes but didn’t argue.
By the time the food arrived, my anger had dulled. We sat on the bed eating together, talking about random things. Jordan kept throwing in little jokes that made me laugh despite myself.
At some point, he reached over and wiped sauce off my lip with his thumb, and licked it off.
My heart skipped. “You didn’t have to do that.”
Jordan smirked. “I wanted to.”
The tension broke completely then. One moment we were teasing each other, the next I found myself lying back on the bed with Jordan leaning over me.
The kiss was soft at first, then deeper, hungrier a full passionate make out session.
My thoughts scattered as his hands found my waist, as I tugged him closer.
Everywhere got messy as he doesn't let me breathe anywhere except in his mouth, my whole body was carresed, my titties were sucked and my coochie was eaten that messy night.
Everything felt hot and electric, but somehow gentle too. When we finally broke apart, I was breathless and smiling.
“You’re still mad?” Jordan asked softly.
I shook my head, giggling. “Maybe just a little.”
Jordan grinned and sucked the hell out of my tongue and lips again until there was nothing left to be mad about.
We eventually curled up together under his blanket. I didn’t even notice when I drifted off with my head on his chest, Jordan’s arm around me.
My phone buzzed sometime after midnight.
I scrambled to grab it before it woke Jordan.
“Hello?” I whispered.
“Rue?!” Jenny’s voice was panicked. “You never came back to the hostel! I thought something happened!”
I winced. “Sorry, Jen. I accidentally fell asleep here. I’m coming back now.”
Jordan stirred awake. “What’s wrong?”
“Jenny’s freaking out,” I said softly.
Jordan nodded and got up. “I’ll walk you back.”
The campus was quiet, shadows stretching under the street lamps as we walked back.
We were almost at the hostel gate when a voice from an open window muttered, loud enough to hear:
“ Another slut Jordan?”
I froze, the words stabbing into my chest.
Jordan’s jaw tightened, but he said nothing, just quietly guided me to my hostel gate.
“Go inside,” he said quietly.
“Jordan…”
“Go,” he repeated, his tone calm but unreadable.
I hesitated, then nodded and went in.
Jordan stood there for a long moment after I disappeared inside.
