The elderly nurse had just left the room after doing her last check on the patient before going home. Cassie thanked her and closed the door, before turning her attention to the man in the room. Damian was seated beside his sister who was laying unconscious in the hospital bed with his head down toward her face. Her pale complexion radiated no light which she usually possessed.
